This might be the stupidest shit I've ever seen in my entire life.

Excuse me? So Ben Watson wants to use the ball as a prop in his touchdown celebration -- 15 yards. Questionable, considering spiking a ball is somehow NOT considered using the ball as a prop, but understandable at the same time. We have to set an example somehow, right? However, we later learn that B-Dub is actually being fined $10,000 for his "classless" celebration.
Let me get this straight--you can crawl on your knees and drive your helmet through a quarterback's knee, knocking him out for the entire season, and it's all rainbows and kittens. You can destroy a defenseless receiver over the middle after a deflection, and you get a pat on the back. But if you have the audacity to honor your pregnant wife while celebrating a touchdown, you get fined $10,000. In a league that's supposedly taking a new, improved interest in the safety of players, how much sense does that make? None? I thought so too.
Now, I don't want to harp on the whole "the league is against the Patriots" thing, so I won't. But I'll just say that the league has been incredibly inconsistent, at best, with their penalties/fines this season. Specifically, if Rodney Harrison was in the place of (Will?) Clark and leveled Hines Ward over the middle after Big Benny Wenny got his pass tipped, he gets fined an entire season's salary plus his 401k. If Brandon Merriweather does the same thing as Marcus Pollard and decided that whoever was playing QB for the Chiefs at the time didn't need his ACL anymore (which was the same thing as Vince Wilfork did last season against the Bills--he got fined), he'd get his house repo'd by the NFL. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
(OK, so I did harp on the whole "the league is against the Patriots" thing. How could I not? It's so obvious now!)
Honestly, it's time for this puddle of fox urine that calls himself a commissioner to be relieved of his duties. I honestly feel like Choor would do a better job. You up for it, Choop-a-loop?

It is completely ridiculous that the fines for putting peoples careers and even lives in danger are on par with those of end zone celebrations. I have no problem whatsoever with non-taunting end zone celebrations. If you can be creative and funny in your celebration- all the better.
I do think that sometimes the celebrations do get a little ridiculous... but whatever- you can't please all the people all the time (and sometimes I'm one of those people).
Today I finally return to my Patriots watching life- hopefully they'll have plenty to celebrate in the end zone.
