the Madden Bus comes to a halt

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4073253

John Madden has announced his last game. While the quality of analysis we'll receive in Sunday Night Football will undoubtedly increase with Madden's departure, what we stand to lose is far, far greater. I'll miss your stuttering, stumbling, strange noises, and generally obviously and mostly useless analysis John. After the hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours I've spent playing your video game and hearing your goofy voice, I feel like I'm losing a friend. Goodbye John. You changed my life in more ways than you'll ever know...

“The goal of football is to score more points than your opponent.”

“Whenever you talk about a Mike Shananhan offense, you always talk about his offense.”

“Here’s a guy who when he runs, he moves faster.”

“From the waist down, Earl Campbell has the biggest legs I have ever seen on a running back.”

"90% of football is half mental."

“When your arm gets hit, the ball is not going to go where you want it to.”

Never forget.
