Snipe City Danglers downed by Steve Heinz Ketchup Squad

Unfortunately tonight's battle between the Snipe City Danglers and the Steve Heinz Ketchup Squad in the 459 Mini Hockey League wasn't much of a contest for its spectators. The Ketchup Squad took home the victory 5-2, leaving Bill Riley feeling "pretty shitty." The loss drops the Danglers to 2-2 overall, while the Ketchup Squad moves to 3-2 overall.

Riley, the Dangler's captain, came into the game favored, but was not able to get his usually deadly shot going. "You know what the issue was, is that tonight I couldn't snipe anything in the corner like I could the other two games," said an obviously disappointed Riley after the game. Tufts, the Ketchup Squad's captain, was uncharacteristically unavailable for comment after the game, but was heard to be shouting "AWFUL" after the game as he headed back into his dorm room, presumably in response to Riley's poor play.

Other news:
In the league's inaugural day the Danglers were on the better end of a 2-1 series victory over the Steve Heinz Ketchup Squad, while the Ketchup Squad managed a 5-1 victory over Team Chi, the doormat of the league.

The 459 Mini Hockey League is made possible in part by Danny Riley's gift of a pair of mini hockey nets and sticks to his brother, the aforementioned Bill Riley, this past Christmas.
